BRIGHTON HOUSING TRUST: Finance Director


 

BHT is a charity and a registered housing association working in Brighton and Hove, Eastbourne, Hastings and other parts of Sussex.

Permanent Contract
Salary: £59,667 per annum. 6% (Reviewed annually) employer pension contribution
37 Hours per week, based in Brighton
Annual Leave entitlement starts at 25 working days

The Finance Director is responsible for assisting the Chief Executive and the Board with strategic, development and corporate activities, the preparation of financial and other reports, and quality assurance.

The postholder will possess a professional accountancy qualification (minimum ACA/FCA or ACCA/FCCA) with extensive post qualification experience preferably within the housing association sector. We require experience of Charity SORP, effectively managing budgets, producing annual statutory accounts, business and financial planning, staff management and the use of accounting software.

We are seeking a driven and dynamic individual with exceptional interpersonal skills who is an effective team player with the ability to translate accountancy theory into practice.
