My client school is a well equipped and resourced, 11-18 new build Academy based in Dorset. The school boasts a £14 million new building, a £1.3 million IT system, wonderful sports facilities, and well motivated and enthusiastic pupils.

From September, the Principal is keen to appoint an exceptional Maths Graduate as a Teaching Assistant within the Maths Department. This fantastic opportunity has much to offer an aspiring Maths Teacher looking for a great start to their career.

The successful applicant will be deployed as a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Maths across the whole Key Stage 3 and 4 age and ability range. This opportunity is full-time until July 2014 and would suit a confident and resourceful Maths graduate with a talent for engaging children of all abilities and a knack for explaining complicated concepts in terms all can understand.

If successful, you will work as an integral part of a dynamic Maths Department and get the chance to learn how Maths is taught in a modern, IT rich school environment. Working with an experienced and dedicated teaching team will facilitate your own knowledge and understanding of the role.
